Joe Jedlowski has an outstanding professional career with many highlights and successes within the senior living industry. Formally the Regional Vice President of Operations at Senior Living Group in New Jersey, he was developing efficient solutions even before becoming an executive. Having a degree in Healthcare Administration helped, yet it was a solid work ethic and career objective that secured Joe a seat at the top.
With any business structure, one of the main factors for developing new and effective strategies is experience. Initially starting as a Nursing Home Administrator / Regional Director, Joe Jedlowski took advantage of the opportunity to gain as much professional experience as possible. Using his business expertise, he was able to complete business finance analysis, develop cost-saving policies, and lead routine financial reviews. Throughout this process, Joe also had the ability to become familiar with various operations of the healthcare industry.
Upon advancing to Senior VP of Operations, knowledge of finance and operational experience played a more direct role in daily planning and leadership. Maintaining budgets, reviewing reports, and negotiating contracts were among the essential duties, yet Joe Jedlowski wanted improvement and growth. Developing new programs such as the self-discovery program turned out to be successful, but it was his strategic planning that produced the best results.
By the time Joe reached Regional VP of Operations at Senior Living Group in New Jersey, his experience and desire to exceed expectations led to several significant achievements. Now overseeing the operations of 12 senior living facilities, he implemented plans that cut bad debt from $200,000 to $2,000 in collectables. In addition, these plans successfully increased occupancy from 82.8% to 92.4% and increased quality enhancement from 86% to 92%.
The mentality behind this success is that Joe Jedlowski knew that he wanted to be an executive leader of an efficient and reliable team. He always believed that any assisted living organization should be growth-oriented. It is with this basis that he has, and continues to accomplish great successes throughout quality senior living administration.
